Master Software Incorporated is a member of Project Management Institute and constantly updates our project and quality management experience through this and other professional affiliations. Currently we use the foillowing project management and control methodologies.

CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) -- A methodology for medium to large projects promoted by Microsoft Corporation. We use their methodology guidance and project templates.

RUP (Rational Unified Process) -- A methodology independantly developed in St. Louis, Missouri by senior software engineers and project managers and purchased by IBM. We have licensed and use the older developed methodology which is largely document based and is intended for medium to large projects. We provide extensive support for the emthdology to our clients.

Agile -- This is a technology developed by Software Engineers for rapid development with a minimum of documentation. It depends on frequent (often daily) interaction of software teams to keep the project on track. It provides for intimate contact with client project experts and testing integrated with them. It is most suitable for small to medium projects, or segments of larger projects being managed overall with CMMI or RUP.

Scrum -- A prepackaged and even more abbreviated methodology using a minimum of documentation and a small team approach. It is best for small or tightly focused projects.

Master Software used Team Foundation Server and Sharepoint Foundation to implement these methodologies to maintain high project transparency to the client. The methdologies are supported by an extensive Document Master that covers all aspects of project documentation from iception, feasibility, vision, requirements, design, implementation, testing, education, deployment and maintenance.
